The Department of Child Support Services is seeking to fill multiple vacancies for Child Support Specialist that will be located in Riverside. The incumbents will establish and enforce child support court order obligations through communication by email, mail, telephone, or office interviews with the PRS and PPS. Interview customers to determine paternity, ability to pay, willingness to pay, arrange paternity tests and obtain verification of information received. Establish and enforce paternity, child support and medical support orders. Generate wage assignments, liens, legal docs and correspondence to parties.

The incumbents will perform other related duties as required.The Department highly desires candidates with excellent customer service, who have experience with interviewing and eliciting information from individuals for investigative purposes; who have experience with large case management; who have experience generating legal documents to be filed in court, communicating with individuals from internal and external agencies.
Knowledge of the CSE (Child Support Enforcement System), Cal-SAWS, and child support law is desirable.
This position offers a hybrid schedule after training is completed and could change at any time based on business needs.
