College Application & Essay Proofreader
Position Overview
College Prep 360, a fast-growing, boutique educational advising firm, seeks a proofreader who has experience proofreading college applications, essays, resumes, and more for spelling, grammar, punctuation, syntax, spacing, and consistency. Our proofreaders work behind the scenes to provide executable written feedback and suggested edits.
To be a successful candidate, you will have:
● Excellent documented proofreading and writing skills
● An eagle eye for detail
● The ability to work efficiently under strict deadlines
● The ability to collaborate with counseling teams and provide and receive feedback in a positive, productive manner
● Outstanding organizational, communication, and time management skills
● Solid understanding of Google Drive (Google Docs and Sheets) and the AP Stylebook
● A flexible schedule
Bonus points if you have:
● Familiarity with the academic and social demands of elite high school culture and the competitive college admissions landscape
● An undergraduate or graduate degree from a selective university
This is a part-time, remote contract position with compensation starting at $25/hour.
