Rental Agent


 

We are looking for a Rental Agent for a condominium on Longboat Key to work in coordination with the Rental Manager.

This position is responsible for organizing and coordinating the rental program of a Condominium Association using specific in-office software and existing procedures, while providing outstanding customer service to residents and guests. You will also:

  • Create and maintain an organized filing system
  • Answer incoming phone calls as appropriate and provide supporting information on the rental program and parameters to those requesting it
  • Set and maintain schedules
  • Greet guests and residents with a pleasant, friendly demeanor
  • Enter rental agreement information into in-office software as appropriate
  • Reconcile rental software accounting monthly, in concert with the accounting department and onsite management.
  • Develop operating procedures to ensure any additional rental personnel added are trained and operate the same way.

This is a fast-paced office which will require frequent collaboration with other employees and departments, including other office staff, maintenance and a Community Association Manager.

To be successful in this role, you will:

· Be a team-player

· Be comfortable with all day-to-day office operations

· Be able to work weekends.

· Be able to work a later shift starting at either 10am or 11am.

· Be self-directed and able to complete projects with limited supervision

· Be proficient with a variety of office software (email tools, MS Office, spreadsheets and databases)

· Detail oriented and works with a high degree of accuracy

· Highly organized and flexible

· Ability to multitask and meet changing deadlines

Other Requirements

· Proven experience as an office administrator, office assistant, rental agent or relevant role

· Outstanding communication and interpersonal abilities, including Excellent oral and written communication skills

· Excellent organizational skills

· Familiarity with office management procedures

· Working knowledge of MS Office (Word and Excel)

· High school diploma

This is a full-time position, 40 hours per week. Starting salary is based on experience. It also offers benefits choices for Medical, Dental and Vision coverage, available after 30 days of employment, as well as a potential bonus program.

Pay: $24.00 - $26.00 per hour
