I.T. Dispatcher


 

What You Will Need to Do!

· We are looking for a REMOTE Dispatcher to act as a communication point for emergency and non-emergency I.T. (Information Technology) service calls.

· The first 30-days are an INTERNSHIP to learn what to do. Show us you can and you will move on to the probationary position.

· The next 60-days are a COMMISSION-PAID probationary position. Here you will continue learning and asking questions to make you ready to be able to do everything after 90 days. Time will be extended 30 days if you need more training.

· After 90-120 days you should know all the ins and outs of the position and be able to work on your own 100% with little to no questions needed, but please do ask when odd issues that may arise.

· You will search out and respond to requests for service from our partners and the general public via phone calls or written communication, transmit messages and keep track of technician schedules.

· You will properly and efficiently assess calls to determine the appropriate course of action by gathering critical information and following AMG Tech Support protocols and workflows.

· This position also offers commission for any clients brought into AMG Tech Support or HI Telecommunications by you

· The ideal candidate must be primarily an excellent communicator and be able to remain calm and composed, especially in busy situations.

· You must be able to multi-task as well as take the appropriate action with near-zero supervision, after the 90-days, by quickly exercising a high degree of good judgment and independence.

· The goal is to enable different parties to communicate well by ensuring the accurate and timely transmission of information.

· Effectively utilize our software platforms to appropriately route, monitor, and track calls.

· This position requires a dedication to want to earn a living as there is no roof for income potential.

· With this position, you must be willing to make cold calls during downtime to create business. You will make a commission with what we have already set up, but you will make more for what you create!

Responsibilities

· Receive emergency and non-emergency calls, emails, or chats and record significant information

· Search out clients who need I.T. services in specified areas

· Address problems and requests by transmitting information or providing solutions

· Receive and dispatch orders for products or deliveries or work for technicians

· Prioritize calls according to urgency and importance

· Use a computer to receive and prepare work orders by sending technicians to appropriate locations

· Oversee all communications within a specifically assigned territory

· Monitor the route and status of field units to coordinate and prioritize their schedule

· Provide field units with information about orders, obstacles, and requirements

· Enter data in a computer system and maintain logs and records of calls, activities and other information

· Record and maintain files and records of customer requests, work or services performed, charges, expenses, inventory, and other dispatch information.

· Determine types or amounts of equipment, vehicles, materials, or personnel required according to work orders or specifications and relay that to the specified technician.

Requirements

· One year minimum of direct work experience in customer support or customer-facing role via written and verbal communication.

· Tech-savvy with knowledge of relevant methods.

· Fast typing with experience in data entry

· Uplifting attitude and dedication to work through dynamic situations

· Laptop or Desktop Computer with Win 10 or 11

· Able to learn procedures and guidelines

· Proficient in English (oral and written), not textese

· Outstanding organizational and multitasking abilities

· Active listener with excellent communication skills

· Sound judgment and critical thinking

· Must be comfortable with ambiguity, and able to work without close supervision, then being talked to about your progress and be able to make adjustments

· High school diploma or GED

Additional Requirements while working remotely

· Ability to sit at your computer for long periods of time without disruption.

· A quiet area to work.

· You must have an internet connection with a minimum of 10mbps download and 5mbps upload speed from a reliable internet provider (Cable, DSL, Satellite or Fiber Optic/FiOS providers) (Not supplied by Hardy Industries INC)

· You must be able to use your personal laptop or desktop (WIN 10 or equivalent) and smartphone (Android or Apple device) upon starting employment with AMG Tech Support. You will need to sign a personal laptop/desktop amendment at the same time you sign your employment contract.

Job Types: Full-time, Part-time, Contract

Pay: $1.00 - $50.00 per hour

Pay: $7.25 - $20.00 per hour

Schedule:

  • Weekends only
