The Evans School has an outstanding opportunity for an Academic and Career Development Programming Manager. This position counsels or advises graduate students regarding career options, academic planning, degree requirements, graduation requirements, readmission requirements, and related matters. In this role, they will also develop and execute career development programming as well as career advising support to current Evans students. The Academic and Career Development Programming Manager will also collaborate with the broader Student Affairs team to provide a holistic student experience.
With the large number of students in our department, the high demand for student appointments for both academic and career advising, we have a need for one additional advisor. The addition of an additional advisor would allow us to allocate duties in a way that would better serve our students as well as the Evans School
Duties and Responsibilities:
• Support programmatic and administrative work of Career Development through engaging in- person and virtual career events and communications for students. • Support the management of the online career management system (EvansJobs by Symplicity) through job postings and student/alumni technical support
