Talentnook Writing Academy is a growing early-stage Edtech startup based out of the SF Bay Area. We are looking to hire for a 'Learning Advisor/Customer Operations' in our Customer Service Advising and Operations Team.
Job responsibilities include:
- Answering queries from parents interested to enroll their children, helping parents find the right courses, and advising parents on reading and writing courses
- Coordinating assessments for prospective students
- Following up with interested parents to get the enrollment completed
- Onboarding parents and students
- Coordinating with teachers and management to ensure smooth operation of classes
- Stay in continuous touch with enrolled and prospective parents to provide a personalized experience.
- Enrollment and ongoing class administration- manage enrollments, drop-outs, class changes, student makeups etc.
- Maintain semester calendar and coordinate with teachers, parents, and students to get the semester requirements completed
- Follow up with parents enrolled in the previous semester for re-enrollment
- Attend weekly administrative meetings
The role is a combination of advising, customer service, and enrollment administration.
Qualifications and Requirements:
Flexibility with the schedule. Hours per day will vary and may be needed at different times based on parents' availability.
Resourceful and a go-getter
Strong communication skills. You should be comfortable communicating on the phone, text, video calls, and emails.
Ability to work on an average of 10-15 hours per week. Hours per week will vary and would be more than 10 hours per week during the enrollment periods and at the end of every semester.
We work remotely and collaborate frequently through Google Workspace. The ideal candidate is reliable, goal-oriented, and eager to learn and work in a startup environment.
