Job Description: Sales Intake Specialist
We are seeking a Sales Intake Specialist to join our team. As an Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls as well as making outbound calls from/to potential customers. Your main goal will be to qualify customers through the intake process. Once qualified you will work to gain e-signature on the preliminary agreement with our firm, making rebuttal attempts and further explaining the services. You will demonstrate exceptional customer service and build strong relationships with prospects.

As a Sales Intake Specialist, you will be responsible for answering incoming calls as well as making outbound calls from/to potential customers. This position does consist of cold calling sales where your goal is to sign new business owners into an accounting and legal service contract. Your main goal will be to qualify customers through the intake process. Once qualified you will work to gain e-signature on the preliminary agreement with our firm, making rebuttal attempts and further explaining the services. You will demonstrate exceptional customer service and build client relationships.
Key Responsibilities:
- Handle inbound/outbound calls and obtain personal information based on caller demographics.
- Cold Calling/ B2B Sales
- Use product information, client tools, scripting, and rebuttals to overcome resistance and assumptive closing of the potential partnership between the caller and our firms.
- Speaking with potential clients gathering case information for the firm.
- Schedule appointments to complete the sign-up process with the firm.
- Evaluation of potential client's claim, explaining the process, and answering questions.
- Effectively rebuttal and present the solution and value proposition to customers.
- Collaboratively work with the sales team and leadership to effectively communicate with customers when needed.
- Enter alpha and numeric data accurately into an automated system via a computer keyboard.
- Provide excellent voice communication and active listening skills while handling difficult customers, maintaining a professional demeanor.
- Demonstrate empathy and understanding of customers’ issues or questions.
- Utilize client-specific reference materials and customer service skills.
- Maintain 100% accuracy in data entry and adhere to quota-driven jobs.
- Provide exceptional customer service and build relationships with prospects.
- Navigate web-based and phone systems.
- Maintain regular and acceptable attendance levels as determined by the employer's sole discretion.
- Be available and willing to work remotely and for such hours per day or hours per week.
- Bring your own device (BYOD) and have an appropriate internet connection.
- Provide a distraction-free work zone within the remote environment at home.
Qualifications:
- High school diploma or G.E.D. preferred.
- Minimum of six months of sales experience
- Minimum of six months of Cold Calling Experience
- Minimum of six months of customer service, and data entry experience.
- General knowledge of customer service and co-terminology, concepts, practices, and processes.
- Ability to read and comprehend simple instructions, short correspondence, and memos; to write straightforward explanations, routine reports, and correspondence; to ask effective questions and present information clearly and concisely; and to effectively and clearly communicate with proper grammar and vocabulary.
- Ability to add, subtract, multiply, and divide with 10's and 100's, and perform these operations using U.S. currency units.
- Ability to apply common sense understanding to detailed written or oral instructions, and deal with problems involving a few concrete variables in standardized situations.
- Ability to listen and respond while keying into an automated system and learn to navigate client-specific screens in a Windows environment as required.
- Ability to maintain a professional demeanor while handling difficult and/or sensitive questions and emotional customers.
- Ability to gain in-depth knowledge of the client’s processes, products, and services during new hire and ongoing training.
- Must be adaptable to unforeseen situations, keep the focus on the customer and make empowered decisions with integrity, empathy, and compassion.
- Must maintain a distraction-free work zone within the remote environment at home.
- You must have your own work at home equipment (check with your Recruiter to make sure your equipment passes our equipment requirements). - High Speed Internet, Hardwired to Internet (No Wi-Fi), Windows 10/11 Computer (No Mac Computers and/or Chromebook). You must have a hardwired USB connection headset.
