POSITION TITLE: Receptionist - Sienna Hills Elementary Campus

TERMS OF EMPLOYMENT: 10.5 Month Employment Full-Time, Part-Time Summer Hours
QUALIFICATIONS:
- High school diploma or general education degree (GED) required
- 2-3 years of relevant experience in an office environment
- Proficient computer skills
- Strong phone skills
- Demonstrated ability to read, write, and speak English
- Comfortable multi-tasking and prioritizing tasks without guidance
- Excellent interpersonal skills
- Punctual with strong attendance history
ESSENTIAL JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Answer and direct telephone calls in a polite and friendly manner.
- Place calls in voicemail & locate staff as appropriate.
- Assist parents, students or any other visitors who come to the front office.
- Communication center for any major emergencies or disasters.
- Communicating messages to staff.
- Make announcements on intercom as necessary.
- Monitor the alarm system panel for emergencies and follow various procedures to contact the proper administrators.
- Ability to communicate the Odyssey policies to parents and scholars with a positive delivery.
OTHER JOB FUNCTIONS:
- Work with the phone service system on any repairs or problems with the phones.
- Assist with all office mailings.
- Assist with new student data entry as requested.
- Demonstrates effective human relations and communication skills.
- Adheres to good safety practices.
- Adheres to all district rules, regulations and policies.
