HR Coordinator


 
Overview:
JOB SUMMARY

This position will focus on benefit administration with specific knowledge of self-funded plans, annual benefit preparation and communication, as well as the first line of support for employee benefit questions and leave of absence questions in areas of overlap. Additional responsibilities will be in areas of employee relations, policy and procedure maintenance, and recruitment and retention support; i.e. review of onboarding and orientation processes and other support duties.

MINIMUM QUALIFICATIONS

Education:
High School Diploma required, Bachelors degree preferred.

Experience:
3 - 5 years of work experience in HR and benefits.

Knowledge and Skills: Excellent communication and interpersonal skills including knowledge of diversity, equity and inclusion such as cultural awareness. Problem solving skills. Knowledge of self-funded and insured benefit plans. Knowledge of HRIS systems including billing, file share, and auditing. Excellent computer skills i.e. Microsoft office. Knowledge of legal aspects of benefits and general HR and employment law. Experience with HR policies and procedures.

Equipment:
Computer and Microsoft office programs.

Physical Requirements:
Must be able to perform the essential physical requirements of the job.

PAY RANGE
$22.83 - $34.25
