Seasonal Onboarding Coordinator (West Coast preferred)


 
At a Glance:
As a Seasonal Onboarding Coordinator, you will support the BDS Human Resources and Talent Acquisition Teams by executing administrative and onboarding activities. Our ideal candidate is detailed and organized, loves providing an excellent candidate experience every time, and thrives in a fast-paced environment. You will be responsible for ensuring accurate, timely, and compliant processing of all employee data and documentation through the onboarding of new hires. You will also support the day-to-day functions of electronic record-keeping, file maintenance, and HRIS entry. This remote position is a full-time, temporary, project-based opportunity with typical office hours of 8am-5pm Monday-Friday, with some occasional weekend hours during peak hiring and onboarding times.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

  • Create a flawless onboarding experience for all New Hires
  • Coordinate new hire flow between Recruiters and Hiring Managers, ensuring accuracy, proper follow-up, and tracking
  • Process new hires through the onboarding system following HR process and policy
  • Verify I-9 documentation and maintain legal records accurately
  • Assist with special projects, programs, research, and other HR initiatives
  • Other tasks as requested by management


WHAT YOU'LL BRING

Experience and Education:

  • 1-year experience in a heavily administrative role
  • Experience serving in an administrative capacity in HR, Payroll, or Finance departments is a plus

Skills and Attributes:

  • Strong verbal, written, and interpersonal communication skills
  • Excellent customer service skills and a positive, helpful attitude
  • Must have a sense of urgency and the ability to multi-task
  • Ability to adapt to different situations in a fast-paced, changing environment
  • Must be able to maintain a high level of confidentiality and possess the professional maturity to handle highly sensitive information
