Join one of the largest independent office equipment dealers in the Midwest and Mountain States. Our client is dedicated to helping customers manage costs, improve productivity, and increase profitability by providing custom solutions for better document management.

This growing company is seeking a Service Manager to build and manage a technical service team from one of its offices in Colorado.

Your opportunity includes:

  • Effectively managing a high volume of work in a productive environment.
  • Supervising Service Technician(s).
  • Conducting annual performance evaluations, reviewing salaries, and assisting in promotional decisions.
  • Monitoring flow of in-shop equipment, assigning work orders to technicians, and promptly meeting customer-driven deadlines.
  • Tracking and monitoring the use of loaner equipment.
  • Analyzing customers’ service needs, identifying opportunities for improvement within the service department, and establishing goals for the service department.
  • Assuring proper repair order flow to satisfy warranty/company/business office requirements.
  • Ensuring proper service techniques are being utilized.
  • Establishing and maintaining good working relationships with customers to encourage repeat and referral business.
  • Ensuring repair of systems at the customer’s location is completed successfully, timely, and in a professional manner.
  • Completing follow-up audits on equipment and technicians as assigned.
  • Ensuring ongoing training on new products and technologies is completed as it becomes available.
  • Assists with other duties as assigned.

Qualifications and skills essential for success:

  • Two-plus years of relevant experience as a lead service technician (preferred).
  • Two-plus years of supervisory experience (preferred).
  • Strong customer service and relational coworker skills.
  • Demonstrated ability to manage time effectively, produce accurate and detail-oriented results, and meet deadlines in a fast-paced environment.
  • Professional etiquette is utilized in all forms of communication with customers and coworkers.
  • Valid, unrestricted driver’s license and ability to maintain a good driving record.

Compensation offered: $70,000 (Depending on Experience) and quarterly bonus opportunity
