We are hiring a Technical Quality Specialist to join Workplace Solutions Claims Shared Services. As a Technical Quality Specialist, you will play a critical role in ensuring the accuracy of group claims by validating adherence to claim adjudication expectations. WHAT WE CAN OFFER YOU:

  • Estimated Salary: $56,150 - $62,000, plus annual bonus opportunity
  • Remote opportunity
  • Regular associates working 40 hours a week can earn up to 15 days of vacation each year.
  • Regular associates receive 9 paid holidays in 2023.
  • Regular associates are provided sick leave through the use of personal time. Associates working 40 hours a week can receive up to 56 hours of personal time in 2023, prorated based on the start date.


WHAT YOU'LL DO:

  • Analyzes, evaluates, and investigates claims adjudication from a Quality Audit perspective for Group Short-Term Disability (STD), Long-Term Disability (LTD), Life, Life Waiver of Premium (WOP), Accidental Death & Dismemberment (AD&D), Living Care, Accident, Critical Illness, Hospital Indemnity, Paid Family and Medical Leave (PFML), and Long-Term Care claims adjudicated by the Claims Organization within Workplace Solutions.
  • Adheres to the supervisor review and Healthy Claim Review processes that have been established, ensuring that objectives are met, performing quality and accuracy reviews of Benefit Claim Technician's and Benefit Claim Specialists as established.
  • Participates in training, coaching, auditing and provides feedback to Benefit Claim Technician's, Benefit Claim Specialists and Claims Leadership by establishing and promoting best practice claims management processes.
  • Remains current on Company and industry changes, federal and state legislation and regulations, as well as changes in internal processes and procedures.
  • Identifies and eliminates waste in processes that will result in focused effort on value added service to customers. Participates in innovative and creative ways to sustain process change and communicates process changes and compliance issues to staff.


WHAT YOU’LL BRING:

  • 5+ plus years of Group Disability Claims experience.
  • Demonstrated experience with the application of policies, practices, and procedures in a business environment with the ability to review, reflect and express the opportunities that are presented in a file and the ability to be confident in your decision making.
  • Excellent organizational skills and high attention to detail with strong independent work ethic.
  • Experience mentoring or coaching in group claims.
  • You promote a culture of diversity and inclusion, value different ideas and opinions, and listen courageously, remaining curious in all that you do.
  • Able to work remotely with access to a high-speed internet connection and located in the United States or Puerto Rico.
