Leads cross-functional initiatives with senior executives to support our growth agenda and help drive our M&A strategy. As a director, e2e innovation & architecture, you will…

  • Leadership - Setting goals for the work group, developing organizational capability, and modeling how we work together: - Identifies and communicates key responsibilities and practices to ensure the immediate team of direct reports promotes a successful attitude, confidence in leadership, and teamwork to achieve business results - Supports the implementation of company programs to ensure the success of the Company. - Independently lead strategic projects and initiatives with senior leadership team, creating work plan and deliverables, executing on project plan and leading cross-functional team to execution - Lead realization of strategy through mergers, acquisitions and partnership development, from identifying potential targets and partners, to leading due diligence process and supporting integration
  • Planning and Execution - Developing strategic and operational plans for the work group, managing execution, and measuring results: - Prepares, communicates and educates client groups and team on changes in policies and practices within the organization - Plans and manages business unit and department processes and practices to ensure that programs are aligned with company business goals and objectives. - Support Starbucks business unit strategy development through strategic planning process and individual initiative support
  • Business Requirements - Providing functional expertise and executing functional responsibilities: - Drives, influences, informs and supports key business decisions with deep understanding of key trends and competitive developments that could impact Starbucks’ business.
  • Partner Development & Team Building - Providing partners with coaching, feedback, and developmental opportunities and building effective teams: - Challenges and inspires team members to achieve business results. - Conducts and ensures the completion of performance reviews. - Ensures partners adhere to legal and operational compliance requirements. - Oversees training and development of partners directly and indirectly managed and makes effective staffing decisions. - Provides coaching, direction and leadership support to team members in order to achieve partners, business and customer results - Attracts, retains, develops and inspires a highly qualified and functioning team.

We’d love to hear from people with:
  • Post-MBA strategic management consulting experience at leading firm or –
  • Total experience in strategy consulting/internal strategy experience at a consumer focused company
  • Demonstrated strategic expertise in consumer-focused industries (food-service, retail, consumer goods)
  • Demonstrated thought leadership at the senior executive level
  • Demonstrated strategic and analytical leadership at the senior executive level
  • Demonstrated success leading teams
  • Demonstrated success in developing and delivering presentations to executive level audiences
