ROLE SUMMARY
The Partner Standards and Innovations Director is responsible for implementing innovative solutions across the Meetings, External Engagements, & Travel (MEET) organization that can produce future efficiencies and enhance customer experience. This director will support the Global Partner Standards and Innovation Lead in designing strategies that find solutions to deliver a "Best In Class" organization. This role will also help define key performance indicators and service-level agreements for all vendors.
This director will work closely with regional leads to operationalize MEET’s service model and provide a consistent experience for customers (both internal and external) as they interact with vendors worldwide. This director will also work with Digital stakeholders to create a seamless process and systems landscape (incl. MAPP Navigator and Cvent).

The role will work closely with regional Partner Standards and Innovation colleagues, MEET Regional Leads, other MEET Centers of Excellence colleagues, and commercial business colleagues as needed. This role will report to the MEET Partner Standards and Innovation Lead.
  • Support Global Partner Standards and Innovations Lead in defining partner strategy and innovation strategy for MEET organization
  • Support Global Partner Standards and Innovations Lead in developing service-level agreements and standards for all vendors, and define vendor accountability strategy to ensure vendor adherence to master service agreement terms and needs of the country colleagues
  • Drive a best-in-class experience across Healthcare Professionals and internal customers through improvements to technical and operational aspects of MEET processes
  • Exhibit a deep understanding of MEET processes, systems, and vendor landscape
  • Ensure alignment with North Star principles of “speed to value, business impact, promote our services, and create capacity”
  • Oversee Global Partner Standards and Innovations Manager and Regional Partner Standards & Innovation Leads in implementing innovative approaches and strategies that create a "Best-In-Class" organization
  • Oversee Global Partner Standards and Innovations Manager and Regional Partner Standards & Innovation Leads in executing vendor performance review process and hold everyone accountable for innovation and building a state-of-the-art operational model
  • Work with Regional Partner Standards & Innovation Leads to identify and implement opportunities for continuous improvement and innovation across all existing services and platforms
  • Support the Global Partner Standards and Innovation Lead in developing innovative solutions for emerging problems in the MEET space or with areas touching the end-to-end MEET processes
  • Support the Global Partner Standards and Innovation Lead in the development and implementation of new tools, including development of business requirements; vendor selection, and congress and launch planning
  • Oversee Global Partner Standards and Innovations Manager and Regional Partner Standards & Innovation Leads in implementing a self-service tool to be used globally for simple internal meetings, including change management, roadmap plans, stakeholder input and measurement of impact (strategy and tool selection to be led by Global Lead and by this role)
  • Support the Global Partner Standards and Innovation Lead in driving global transformation, speed to market, simplified ways of working, significant reductions in budget and efficiencies and higher quality customer experiences
  • Ability to present to executive leadership and manage relationships with stakeholders globally
  • Ability to lead vendors and drive/manage relationships to deliver innovative solutions above daily needs
  • Ability to lead initiatives with internal partners to create a single, seamless process and systems landscape
  • Ability to partner with internal stakeholders to collect feedback on vendor support, innovation and continuous improvements
  • Work across Sourcing & Enterprise Services (SE&S) stakeholders with vendor accountability and measurement and ensure team is responsible for ensuring partners deliver to expectations of the business
  • Work with Regional Partner Standards & Innovation Leads to operationalize and implement partner strategies in each region
BASIC QUALIFICATIONS
  • Typical Years of Experience: 10+ years (9+ years with MBA/MS) of experience in managing a team and delivering strong global transformational innovations through systems, partners and strong need for efficiencies
  • Minimum of bachelor’s degree in Business, Finance, or a related discipline
  • Fluency in English is a must, additional languages preferred
  • Understanding and awareness of the technology landscape that supports MEET
  • Ability to analytically review and challenge statutory financial statements to ensure completeness, accuracy, adherence to accounting standards, etc.
  • Strong written and verbal communication skills enabling effective communication with all levels of management
  • Ability to drive large global innovation initiatives with positive impacts on business efficiencies
  • Strong accounting, analytical thinking and problem-solving skills
  • Ability to work under pressure and to handle several projects at once
  • High level of self-motivation, energy, and flexibility
  • Highly customer- and service-minded, and solutions-oriented
  • Proven ability to drive continuous improvement.
  • Strong interpersonal and organizational skills
  • Proficiency in PC skills (MS Excel, Word, PowerPoint) required
  • Good organizational skills to coordinate and manage multiple priorities
  • Proficient written and verbal skills to enable effective communication with all levels of management
  • High degree of ingenuity to envision future models, frameworks, roadmaps and technology enabled solutions
  • Knowledge of relevant external trends within the vendor landscape aligned to MEET services
  • Candidate demonstrates a breadth of diverse leadership experiences and capabilities including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers, develop and coach others, oversee and guide the work of other colleagues to achieve meaningful outcomes and create business impact.
PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS
  • Experience creating and leading deploying a structured monitoring of agency performance to ensure all business needs are met and innovations are delivered to balance service, savings, and simplification
  • Previous experience with transformational initiatives, innovational solutions and strong oversight of vendors to deliver effective strategies
  • Demonstrated diverse leadership experiences including: the ability to influence and collaborate with peers and create business impact
  • Deep expertise and understanding of the latest technologies and innovations in the meetings and travel space
  • Expertise in strategy and business case development
  • Ability to engage with senior executives to influence decisions
  • Budgeting and financial management, incl. scenario planning and forecasting
  • Recognized as a leader with in-depth knowledge of delivering innovative approaches to operational needs and managing external vendors to maximize effectiveness
  • Ability to develop strategy for continuous improvement
  • Global business strategy management skills
  • Project management & communications skills
  • Experience with Foreign Corrupt Practices Act transactions preferred
NON-STANDARD WORK SCHEDULE, TRAVEL OR ENVIRONMENT REQUIREMENTS
Position is location is Tampa, USA. Travel would be for work related needs only. Weekend work could be necessary based on volumes.
Work location assignment: On premise
