The salary range for this position is $71,000 - $88,500 (min - midpoint). New hires typically start between the range minimum and midpoint based on qualifications, experience, and internal equity.

Who You Are
You are an experienced marketing specialist who enjoys creating, supporting, and optimizing audience-centric and actionable digital marketing campaigns. In this role, and under the direction of the Growth Marketing Manager, you will help drive FIRST brand affinity and further our mission to bring inclusive, hands-on STEM programs to all Prek-12 students. With Gracious Professionalism® our ideal candidate will collaborate with the marketing team, key FIRST staff, and our Program Delivery Partners (PDPs).

FIRST headquarters is in Manchester, New Hampshire, and we seek candidates based in New England or willing to relocate to New England. Although this role will have the flexibility to work remote, we are looking for candidates who can easily and frequently travel by car to our headquarters on occasion.

What You Will Do
With laser focus on the lead-to-customer journey, you will create and optimize email campaigns including content writing, list segmentation, A/B testing, scheduling, distributing, and workflow creation as you nurture both new and existing contacts, turn contacts into leads, and help drive lead generation and conversion. Additionally, you will:

  • Demonstrate brand stewardship that adheres to FIRST Branding and Design Guidelines and supports FIRST IP (intellectual property) compliance
  • Build and leverage custom marketing dashboards measuring performance, analyzing campaign data, and monitoring and sharing key performance metrics
  • Leverage data and marketing insights, to experiment with new ways of generating demand and identifying opportunities for niche/geographically targeted campaigns
  • Through your partnership with Global Field Operations (GFO) and PDPs, you will improve the quality, relevance, and hand-off of marketing qualified leads
  • Ensure compliance with data protection policies and best practices by assisting with ongoing enterprise maintenance, including frequent email list imports and HubSpot database contact maintenance
  • Create marketing and sales enablement materials (email copy/templates and workflows, one-pagers, decks, etc.)

What We Expect
A marketing specialist experienced working in a fast-paced, priority evolving, exciting, and rewarding environment. We are also seeking candidates with the following knowledge, skills, and experience:

  • BA/BS in marketing or related field with 5 years related experience or master’s degree and 3 years related experience
  • HubSpot Inbound Certification (or equivalent) with working knowledge of HubSpot or similar email marketing platforms and website CMS platforms
  • Intermediate/Advanced experience with Microsoft Excel including formulas, tables, and advanced sorting
  • Excellent written communication / copywriting skills
  • Strong attention to detail
  • Exceptional time management skills
  • Flexibility to travel 5 - 10% depending on the time of the year
